Family Movie Day
Join us for a free family movie outing to see the live action How to Train Your Dragon! Doors open at 10 a.m. and the movie starts at 10:30—come early to grab seats and order food. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required for each attendee.

Volunteer Appreciation Night
Join us for Volunteer Fiesta Night at the pavilion and outdoor area as we celebrate our incredible volunteers and their families with a night of Mexican-themed food, fun, and community.

Lavish Sisterhood is perfect for women ages 12 and up. Young and old, from all walks of life, there is a place for you in the Sisterhood!
Lavish Students (ages 12-college) and Seniors (ages 65+) get a special discounted Conference rate of only $25! No matter how old you are, you can always come prepared to be lavishly loved at Lavish Conference. -
There are many great hotels in our area. The Holiday Inn Express, Stephens City is the closest hotel to Abundant Life Church. For an added perk, there’s a Starbucks right next door!

Of course! A FREE coffee bar will be available throughout Lavish Conference, along with some light treats will be served on Friday evening and Saturday during intermission for your enjoyment. Conference will end around 1pm, so make plans to grab lunch on your own with friends after that.

Lavish Conference is a kid-free zone, outside of nursing infants. Thank you for your understanding. We will have a Nursing Mother’s Room available for nursing mommies.

Serve Week
Serve Week is your opportunity to live out that calling—whether it’s serving meals, doing yard work, or partnering with local law enforcement and organizations, there’s a meaningful way for all ages to make a difference and bring hope to our community. Just as Jesus served His disciples in John 13:14, we’re called to serve one another with love and humility.

The Circle Summer Kick Off
Get ready to launch into summer with our Young Adult Summer Kickoff! Join us under the pavilion for a night of fun, food, and community. We’ll have beach volleyball, a cookout, a bonfire with s’mores, and plenty of space to hang out and connect with amazing people your age. Whether you’re new or have been part of the crew for a while, this is the perfect night to jump in and kick off the season together!

Open House
New to our church? We’d love to welcome you! Open House is a casual, friendly event where you can explore our church, meet our pastors, staff, and key volunteers, and enjoy great food and conversation. It’s the perfect way to connect, ask questions, and feel at home. We can’t wait to meet you!

Celebrate Easter with us at Abundant Life Church as we embrace the theme of All Things New through uplifting worship, real-life testimonies, and life-changing baptisms. We’ve created a meaningful Easter experience for the whole family, with engaging kids’ activities for the little ones.

Watoto Children's Choir
Experience the joy and hope of the Watoto Children's Choir, a vibrant group of children from Uganda who share their inspiring stories through music, dance, and worship. Traveling the world, the choir serves as a voice for Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable children, spreading a message of God's love and redemption. Don’t miss the chance to witness their powerful performances that celebrate life, resilience, and faith.

Potluck Party
Join us in the gym for a fun potluck party! Bring a side dish or dessert to share—meat and drinks are provided. Kids will love the inflatables and games, and it’s a great time for connection and fun. See you there!

Follow Discipleship Class
FOLLOW, an 8 week course, will help you develop the seven essential attributes of a disciple of Jesus Christ. By reading the Scripture passages, answering the questions, applying the attributes to your life, and sharing your journey with a spiritual coach, you will learn how to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus.

Annual Vision Meeting
Join us for our Annual Vision Meeting! This important gathering is for all members of Abundant Life Church and will take place on February 16th from 1pm to about 2:30pm. During the meeting, we'll review last year's numbers, celebrate our progress, and discuss the exciting vision we have for the upcoming year. Your voice matters as we will also be voting on key matters that impact our church community. Let’s embark on this journey united in faith and purpose!

Brotherhood Breakfast
Join Us for our Brotherhood Breakfast!
You’re invited to a morning of great food and even better company at our Brotherhood Breakfast! This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other men in the church, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful fellowship together. Whether you’ve been a part of our community for years or are just getting to know us, this is the perfect chance to share stories, laughter, and encouragement over a hearty breakfast.
We’ll also take a moment to share how we can support each other in faith, family, and life. Feel free to bring a friend or two—everyone is welcome!

YTH Invite Night
YTH One Night is a night of fun, worship, and community! All 6th-12th graders are invited to join us and bring their friends for free food, fun games, a chance to win prizes, and an opportunity to bring a friend to church! Doors open at 6:30 pm

Winter Clothing Drive
We will be collecting gently-used winter clothing. All clothes collected with be donated to CCAP, who will help distribute the clothing to those in need throughout the winter.

Contemplate: Reflect on God’s goodness this past year and look ahead with hope.
Instead of gathering for services, we encourage you to lead yourself and your family into worship and the presence of God. We’ll provide a Sabbath guide to help you center your day around Him. Let’s embrace this time to find joy, peace, and renewal in His presence.

O Holy Night is more than just a beautiful song we sing at Christmas but it represents the brilliance of shining light that heralded Jesus' coming. This Christmas Eve we are reminded that even in darkness never let your circumstances dim your light for others to see.
We warmly invite you and your family to celebrate the joy of Christmas with us at one of our Christmas Eve services. Experience the wonder of the season together through heartfelt singing, an inspiring Christmas message, and the timeless reading of the Christmas story. We'll conclude this special time with a beautiful candle-lighting ceremony, creating a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to share this meaningful evening with you. Come as you are—all are welcome!
There is an optional experience for those 4 years and under.

Kids Christmas Worship
On Sunday, December 15 ALC KIDS will be coming into the sanctuary to share scripture and a song with the congregation during all 3 services. We will be practicing on Sunday mornings but that will not be enough practice for the kids to feel confident, please plan on practicing the scripture and the song at home with them.
This is open for any child in our 3s class through 5th grade only.
Please choose only one service for your child(ren) to participate in.
There will be a mandatory practice in the sanctuary on Saturday, December 14 at the following times:
Singing at 8:30am practice will be at 9:00am
Singing at 10:00am practice will be at 9:45am
Singing at 11:30am practice will be at 10:30am
Kids are encouraged to wear Christmas colors but please do not feel the need to purchase anything new for this.

Heart for the House
Heart for the House is our annual offering that goes towards the expansion of the Kingdom of God through either initiatives within Abundant Life Church or by partnering with other organizations that are doing similar work.
This year we are supporting Reach Out Now. Reaching Out Now is a non-profit dedicated to empowering underserved youth and families in the Shenandoah Valley. Their programs focus on leadership development, community service, and empowerment. The organization also provides spaces like the Student Union for students to pursue personal growth in a supportive environment.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 with this year’s offering to go towards resourcing the Student Union Center.
We will collect the offering during all of our services on November 24th. If you would like to give digitally, you may also do that at any time.

Kids Con
On The Case KIDS CON is a conference designed specifically for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. They will experience a time of games, worship and community. They will also be given the opportunity to dig into God's Word through the parables of Jesus to solve the mystery of how to grow their faith and how to care for, serve and love others.
