Easter
Join us this Easter at Abundant Life Church as we gather around the table together. This year, we're focusing on what communion truly means — the sacrifice Jesus made, the price He paid, and the incredible truth that because of that moment, we are forgiven. It's a powerful, personal, and meaningful way to experience Easter, and we'd love for you and your family to be a part of it.
Easter Service Times: Saturday, April 4th | 4PM Sunday, April 5th | 8:30, 10, & 11:30 AM
We've also got a full Easter experience lined up for the little ones — Easter egg hunts, inflatables, and games at every service. So bring the whole family, because there's something for everyone.
Whether you've been coming for years or it's your very first time, there's a seat at this table for you. Come as you are, bring the people you love, and let's remember together what Easter is really about. He is risen — and because of that, nothing is ever the same.
Good Friday
Join us for Good Friday at Abundant Life Church — a service intentionally set apart to reflect on the weight and significance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Through scripture reading and a space to pause and remember, this is an evening designed to slow down and sit with the gravity of Christ's greatest sacrifice.
Good Friday Service: Friday, April 3rd | 6:30 PM
This is a more reflective, focused experience — and one we think is worth making time for. All are welcome. Come ready to remember.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
As we step into 2026, we’re taking intentional time to start fresh, refocus our hearts, and prepare spiritually for everything God has ahead. For 21 days, our church family will seek God together through prayer and fasting—believing this will set the tone for the entire year.
Our theme for 2026 is “We A.R.E. (Anticipating. Renewing. Expecting.) Because God Is.”
We’re choosing to posture ourselves with faith-filled expectation, knowing that who God is shapes who we are becoming.
To help guide your journey, we’ve created a Prayer & Fasting Guide that includes:
Daily scripture readings
Devotionals
Practical help for navigating your fast
Space for reflection and prayer
Whether you’re fasting for the first time or you’ve done this before, this guide will walk with you step-by-step.
Let’s begin the year centered, surrendered, and spiritually ready for all God wants to do.
Sabbath Sunday
No Services on December 28th
Sabbath Sunday: A Day to Pause and Reflect
This year, we’re inviting our whole church family into a day of intentional rest—space to slow down, breathe, and realign our hearts with God. Sabbath Sunday is an opportunity to:
Stop: Step away from the usual pace of life.
Rest: Restore your body, mind, and spirit.
Delight: Enjoy the blessings of family, friends, and community.
Contemplate: Look back on God’s faithfulness and look forward with hope.
Instead of gathering for services, we encourage you to lead yourself and your family in worship at home. We’ll provide a Sabbath guide to help you center your day on Him.
Let’s enter this day with open hearts and allow God to fill us with joy, peace, and renewal.
Christmas Eve Services
“Repeat the Sounding Joy” isn’t just a lyric we sing—it’s the heartbeat of Christmas. It reminds us that the joy Jesus brings doesn’t fade with circumstances, seasons, or struggles. His arrival broke through the silence of a weary world, and His joy continues to echo in us today.
This Christmas Eve, we invite you and your family to come celebrate that joy with us. Join us for meaningful worship, an uplifting Christmas message, and the cherished reading of the Christmas story. We’ll end our time together with a beautiful candle-lighting moment, a reminder that the light of Christ still shines brightly and His joy is worth repeating again and again.
Come as you are—everyone is welcome to be part of this joyful celebration.
Join us at 1pm, 3pm, or 5pm on December 24th. If you’re unable to attend in person, we will also be streaming our 3pm service online so you can join from wherever you are.
*There is an optional experience available for children 4 years and under.

We are honored to partner with Bright Futures, Abba Care, Frederick County Public Schools, and Project Belong to help meet real needs for real families in our area.
Important Dates
Gift Return Deadline – Bright Futures: December 7
Gift Return Deadline – All Other Organizations: December 14

Kingdom Builders Offering
Kingdom Builders, formerly known as Heart for the House, is our annual offering that goes towards the expansion of the Kingdom of God through either initiatives within Abundant Life Church or by partnering with other organizations that are doing similar work.
This year we’re supporting Urban Outreach. Urban Outreach is a faith-based nonprofit that has served the Marshall Heights community in Southeast Washington, DC, for over 25 years. Through Bible studies, outreach events, youth programs, and essential services like meals and food assistance, they are dedicated to meeting both the material and spiritual needs of inner-city residents.
Learn more about Urban Outreach
We will also be giving toward our campus expansion initiative which is all about creating more room for growth and connection. This project will add a new hallway linking the main entryway to the Kids Wing, featuring three new classrooms and an expanded entry space with overflow—allowing us to better welcome families and continue advancing the vision God has given our church.
Our goal is $80,000 for our Kingdom Builders offering this year.
We will collect the offering during all of our services on November 23rd. If you would like to give digitally, you may also do that at any time.
