Baptism doesn’t “save” you, only your faith in Jesus Christ does that. It’s an outward symbol of the commitment you’ve made in your heart with Christ.

FAQs

    • Because we want to follow Christ’s example. (Mark 1:9)

  • Every person who has made the decision to believe in Christ Jesus as Lord should be baptized. (Acts 2:41)

  • The one requirement for baptism is belief in Jesus Christ. We do not baptize children until they are old enough understand and believe. (Usually around the age of 7.)

  • Abundant Life Church recommends that you be baptized again if you have not been baptized by immersion since you became a believer in Christ. This doesn’t devalue another experience but simply reflects your decision to be baptized in the same way Jesus was.
