Communities

We’re so glad you asked!  ALC believes LIFE is better together and joining a Community will change your life!  Don’t do life alone.  We need one another.

Great question!  We’ve set up a directory for you to search your interests and needs. You can filter by: Stage of Life, Community Focus, Day of the Week, and/or Child Friendly.  Once you’ve selected your options, you’re left with the Communities available that fit your criteria.

For example:  If you are looking for a Men’s Bible Study, you’ll go click on “men” and then go to “Community Focus” and select Bible Study.  All Communities that fall into that category will then pop up.

Most of our “home Communities” meet every other week in the leader’s home.  Typically, there’s a meal shared that everyone contributes to, followed by a song or two of worship, and then there’s a discussion based on the previous Sunday’s message.  The discussion is always relevant to help you live a successful Christian life. These Communities are centered around relationship.

Our Bible Study Communities run approximately 6-8 weeks/class.  Subjects and teachers will vary throughout the year.  Bible Study Communities can be held at ALC or in homes.  These Communities typically don’t include a meal or worship.  These Communities are centered around discipleship. 

Easy-peasy!  You simply click on the Community you’d like to join (or get more info about) and hit the “Contact” button.  This is a direct link to email the leader for information about joining the Community!  If you already know about the Community, simply hit the “Join this Community” button and follow in the prompts.  In either case, the Community leader will get in touch with you.
