We believe transformation in our city and world happens through meaningful partnerships with ministries, and organizations that address specific local and global needs. Through prayer, volunteering, sharing their stories, and financial support, we engage with these organizations. By focusing resources on initiatives that care for vulnerable communities and align with God's heart, we invite our community to join in God’s work locally, nationally, and globally, empowering us to make a lasting impact together.
AbbaCare
AbbaCare is a non-profit organization offering free, confidential services to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. Their services include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STD/STI testing and treatment, and pregnancy education. They aim to empower women by providing information about options such as abortion, adoption, and parenting. However, they do not perform or refer for abortions. AbbaCare also provides support for men and offers assistance after pregnancy loss or adverse fetal diagnoses. They operate in Winchester, VA, and Martinsburg, WV.
CCAP
CCAP Winchester is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to individuals and families in Winchester and Frederick County, VA, facing financial hardships. Their services include a food pantry, clothing distribution, baby/toddler supplies, and financial aid for rent and utilities. They also offer seasonal programs like free firewood in winter, eyeglasses, and bicycles for work transportation. CCAP is dedicated to helping the community achieve self-sufficiency by meeting basic needs with compassion and support.
Reaching Out Now
Reaching Out Now is a non-profit dedicated to empowering underserved youth and families in the Shenandoah Valley. Their programs focus on leadership development, community service, and empowerment. Through the Youth Empowered for Success (YES) Leadership Program, they work with local schools to promote character building, financial literacy, and career planning. Additionally, they offer service initiatives such as family meal programs and community engagement events. The organization also provides spaces like the Student Union for students to pursue personal growth in a supportive environment.
