Where Are You Headed?

Posted: January 21, 2019

John 14:2-4 “There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”

Sometimes we get so caught up in our life here on Earth that it’s fun to think about what Heaven will be like. We will get to spend eternity with Jesus, in community with him and so many other believers. What a joy that will be! I do not like crowded spaces, packed tight with people, BUT I would love for heaven to be crowded! There is more than enough room, so why not share the good news that our savior, Jesus, is coming back again. Let’s fill this house.

God, I’m so thankful that you sent your son to us once, but I’m even more grateful that He is coming back! Today I ask that you would help me to focus on where I’m going – to spend eternity with you. And to give me the courage to share this joy that I have found in you with others around me. I want to make Heaven a little more crowded. Amen.
