A common analogy used for the idea of 'trust' is likening it to sitting in a chair. Imagine sitting in a chair and not trusting it to hold you. You might sit right on the edge, keeping your feet firmly planted on the floor, engaging your quads, constantly thinking that you hear a creak...it sounds exhausting! Thankfully, our God is WAY better than any chair and we can put our full weight on Him, all day, every day.
"but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
If you're tired, weary, fatigued...put your trust in Him. He can hold it all.
Lord, thank You for being so trustworthy! I know I can put my hope in You and You are strong enough to carry all my burdens, big and small. I trust You with my life, my family, my future, my heart, and my soul. Amen.
