Randi Zuckerburg has a theory about time management: "Work, sleep, family, fitness, friends--pick three." In other words, you can succeed in three of these areas, but the other two will undoubtedly suffer. And I would even add another category of "faith" because we need to devote time and attention to our relationship with God above all those other things!
You can't do it all. I can't do it all. We *shouldn't* do it all. Nobody can do it all!
So pick three, or just pick one right now (guess which one) and give it all you've got. God is for you, and when you go to Him first, He gives you the time you need to get things done as well as the rest you need to recover.
“Come to Me, all of you who work and have heavy loads. I will give you rest. Follow My teachings and learn from Me. I am gentle and do not have pride. You will have rest for your souls. For My way of carrying a load is easy and My load is not heavy.” Matthew 11:28-30
Father, I am so glad you are in control of my time and my rest. I need Your help prioritizing and devoting myself to You. Forgive me of my pride in thinking I could do it all, and thank You for Your continuous mercy and guidance. Amen.
