"Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should." Ephesians 6:19-20
Paul wrote this letter to the people in Ephesus while he was imprisoned far away. It's amazing to me that he writes so passionately about continuing to reach people with the Good News of Jesus. When I compare his situation to mine...He was "in chains," with no family around, no vehicle, no phone or email...and yet he was still using every possible opportunity to "speak boldly for Him."
So should we. We have one more day to speak boldly about Jesus' resurrection to our family, friends, and neighbors. Invite someone to church on Easter and speak boldly for Him, as we should!
Jesus, show me who I can reach today to invite to hear Your message of hope and freedom. I pray for all my family, friends, and neighbors, that they would be drawn to You on Easter and that You would be glorified. Amen!
