Everyone has goals, duties, and tasks throughout their day.  We also have needs and wants.  If you're lucky, you might even have discovered your purpose in life, or at least for the season of life that you're currently in.  But the word "mission" is repeatedly defined by one word:  "important."  I'm talking large-scale here, not just eating and sleeping and checking facebook:  there are things we need to do, and things we want to do, but what is their importance?  God made each of us with a personalized mission deep in our heart, and He's saying to each of us, like He did to Moses,

"But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."
Exodus 9:16

Lord, show me the mission that You have given me for my life.  I want to pursue the passion You put in me for Your glory.  Thank You for always being faithful and for directing my steps towards the things of You.  Amen.
