1 Corinthians 10:12 "Don’t be so naive and self-confident. You’re not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it’s useless. Cultivate God-confidence."
We all have a tank - a confidence tank. It starts out empty, but over time, compliment after compliment, it builds its way up. Now, that's our tank, not GOD'S tank. God's tank is never empty. Don't just rely on your own tank to be enough. That confidence is dependent solely on others. Rely on God's tank and who He says you are.
Some practical ways to cultivate Godfidence is to read His promises, write down, and then memorize the verses that made you feel good, safe, and confident. Try it!
God, I thank You that You are unfailing, unchanging, and forever good. Help me not to look for comfort, confidence, or worth from others. I want the real deal. Thank You for Your constant support and biblical words of encouragement. Amen.
