You've probably heard people say "I walk with Jesus" and equally as often "Jesus walks with me."  There's a difference between "I follow Him" (Matthew 16:24) and "He'll never leave me." (Hebrews 13:5)

Both are biblical, obviously, but I don't want to just go my own way while God observes and hope that He approves.  I want to be obedient to Him, follow His will for my life, and know that I'll hear "well done, good & faithful servant."

So.....how do I do that?

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."  Matthew 7:7

Jesus, I want to walk with You, not do what I want and hope You're close by.  I'm asking, seeking, knocking...what is it You would have me do now?  Today?  This week?  This year?  Show me Your way so I can follow You and not vice versa.  Amen.
