2 Corinthians 10:5 “We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ”
As Christians, we know that there is a lot that distracts us and tempts us in our faith. If you don’t attend a church regularly, it is going to be that much harder to combat distractions, temptations, and lies from the enemy. Before preparing to go out and invite neighbors, co-workers, or unchurched friends, we need to pray! The Bible tells us that there is such power in our words, so pray for the lost. Pray against the obstacles that the enemy is trying to use to distance those from God!
As you are walking out in the love of Christ, remember that you’re called to be a contagious Christian. God has given you strength, courage, boldness, He also gives you the right words to say to each individual, don’t think that you need to be a Bible scholar before you can have a conversation about your faith with someone. People need realness, so be vulnerable with others.
God, I pray against any lie of the enemy that tells them their sin is too great and you could never love them, I pray against any toxic relationship that the enemy is using to try and hold someone back from experiencing true, real love. We destroy every obstacle that the enemy is trying to use to keep people from God. I ask for confidence as I share with others of your love. Begin to soften their hearts to receive this invitation warmly. And I thank you that you want to use me to plant seeds and impact the lives of others. I want every heart to know you and know your love. Amen.
