"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
We all know that God is above us. We know that his thoughts are higher, but sometimes we question His ways. "Why did you let this happen?", "How could you let this happen?", "If you are a good God, why didn't you show up?" These hard questions are about the ways of God.
When we're in the middle of a situation, it is hard to see around or above it. His word says that His ways are above ours. So yes, we can get frustrated and not understand the why, but we have to remember the who that is in control.
God I thank you that Your ways are above my ways. I rejoice that You are a kind God. You have a plan for my life, and even if I can't see what You're doing or why You're doing it, thank You for wanting the best for me. Amen.
