I’m fascinated by manna. Exodus 16 says that it appeared around the Israelite’s camp like dew each morning, and was good for only one day. Some tried to keep it overnight despite their instructions not to, and by the next morning it was full of maggots. But each morning for forty years, there was new manna, just as God promised. Talk about learning to trust in God for your daily bread! He knows your needs, and is faithful to provide.

“So the people of Israel did as they were told. Some gathered a lot, some only a little. But when they measured it out, everyone had just enough. Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough. Each family had just what it needed.”       Exodus 16:17-18 NLT

Lord, thank You for providing for all my needs.  Help me to seek You and to trust in You each day. I know You are faithful! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
