Giving isn't about money.

God isn't as interested in your money as He is in your heart. That's why we feel it's important, not just to give, but to know and understand why we give and why it's important.

**We have recently transitioned our online system to a new giving experience called Pushpay, which allows for simple giving from a variety of platforms, including mobile giving. Click the button below to give now.

Change Lives

By bringing your tithe or offering, you are making a personal investment towards changing lives. Your contribution will sow seeds of love and help spread the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, both locally and globally.

Give and it will be given to you. (Luke 6:38 NIV)

A tithe means 10%. In the Bible, God instructs us to tithe, or give 10% of our gross income, to the church. What's unique about tithing, is that does more for us than it does for God. Also, it's the only way in which God says we can test him.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10 NIV)

At the end of the day, God wants us to be in control of our money - not the other way around. God knows how easily money can control us, because at it's roots, tithing is about our heart, not our money.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:11 NIV)

Simply put, God wants our first and our best. When you give your first and best to God, the rest is blessed.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9, 10 NIV)

An offering is any gift or contribution above and beyond your tithe. No matter the amount, God will use it to advance His Kingdom. From missions to benevolence to debt reduction, you can give an offering that will sow into the Kingdom.

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. (2 Corinthians 6:9 NIV)

Q: Is it safe to give online?

Yes. In many ways, giving online is safer than writing a check in that an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen.

Q: Can I give with my credit or debit card?

Yes. The system allows you to use either. Although many people pay their credit cards off each month, many also struggle with this. We would ask that you use wisdom with God's money on this matter and not get in a position to paying interest on gifts given to the church.

Q: Are there any fees involved with giving online?

Q: How will I receive a copy of my online giving?

You can have receipts of the transaction emailed to you directly from Blue Pay and you will also be mailed a quarterly statement from Abundant Life.

Q:Who do I talk to if I have more questions?

Contact our church office at 540.869.7442 and we'll be glad to answer other questions you may have.
