Worship or War Ship?

Worship or War Ship? Of course you know the difference between both. But just in case you don't allow me to explain: Worship ~> We pursue and we don't let anything hold us back or stand in our way of what were pursuing. Lets face it, we pursue (worship) a lot of things through out our life. When I was a sophomore in High School I had a huge crush on a girl I went to school with. She worked at a nice department store in town and even though I couldn't afford anything in there I would go in on a regular basis and fumble around the guys clothes just hoping to get a chance to talk with her. If she was working at the cash register I would buy the only thing I could afford, the gross tasting $.75 mints just so I could see her face to face. We pursue relationships, material items, love & affection etc... But first we should also be pursing a lifestyle of worship to God, with an attitude of reckless abandon living out loud all that Christ means to us and has done for us. War Ship ~> Is feeling that worship is a fight, and believe me there are times where we don't feel like worshiping, or our world is caving in around us and it's easier not to worship, than to fight. But a part of worship is the pursuit, it's the journey to the very presence of God. And in the end all the pursuing and all the fighting through our own "stuff" we see that it was worth it! Because the end result is we get closer to God, and we hear His voice that much clearer. I pray you find yourself more on the side of Worship than you do on the side of the War Ship because at the end it's going to be worth it!
