Missing In Action

If you live in the DC or surrounding areas you already know how crazy the weather has been lately! But lets be honest it's time for the kids to go back to school! ALC (like every other church) has had to cancel a couple services because of the abnormally heavy snow fall in this region in the last few weeks. Its times like these that make me reflect and realize a couple things, #1 the void in my life without constant interaction with my brothers and sisters in Christ, there is nothing that can replace relationships  and coming together for a single purpose. #2 Serving together! It's encouraging and empowering when a group of people come together and serve with a common purpose in mind. Imagine the 12 disciples constantly around Jesus, serving with a common goal in mind, encouraging one another, giving helpful advice to each other, praying for each other. If  we don't have this in our lives we are MIA. Were missing out on who Jesus is and what He's about, relationships, love, giving hope. If you felt this same type of relational void i your life this past couple weeks than I hope to see you Sunday we have a lot of catching up to do. Don't be MIA!

Be Blessed!
