The "Big Idea" for Xtreme Kids this week was "I Will Take A Risk To Help Others". We learned about Esther and the risk she took to save the Jews. It seems so simple, but how many of us would actually be willing to help someone if it could potentially cause us pain, grief, or even death. Yet this is what God calls us to. He calls us to treat others the way we would want to be treated. He tells us, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." So this week, take a risk. Do something for someone that might cost you something. Something that you would want someone to do for you. And remember that when we serve others we're serving Jesus.
