Freedom, especially during the month of July, is a very common word in our culture. But just because we use it frequently doesn't mean that we are living true freedom. Many times we choose to live in the past bondages of sin instead of living a free life in Christ. Even after we are saved and set free from our sin we continue to be bound out of fear. What will others think? What if i mess up? Can i really be changed? And the list of questions goes on. 

The Bible says that who the son sets free is free indeed and it's time that we start living like it. As we listen to the voice of God and become obedient to what he is saying to us we can become confident in Him. Just as Philippians 1:6 says, "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus". We can be confident in Him and His promises!  And that confidence will give us courage to step out in freedom into the wonderful blessings he has for our lives.
